Spartan Controls selected Optimus to design and build their new 110,000 sq. ft. head office and manufacturing building which offers a spectacular view of downtown Calgary and the mountains to the west.

One of the most unique features of this facility is 'the link' which joins the office component with the manufacturing component of the facility. Employees have found 'the link' to be one of the most versatile sections of the facility, for staff meetings, conferences or just a lunch break.

Construction began in May 1995. Using Optimus' Fast-Track method, close-in occurred within 5 months and move-in followed in February 1996.
